Description of goods
Although every effort is made to provide a description of each item and a clear photograph, this can only be a  guide.  I cannot guarantee that the colour which you see on your screen is a perfect match to the actual product.  I shall be happy to send you a sample (short length) of the yarns used to make the product so that you can see the colour for yourself.  You can also buy a small sample so you can see the thickness of the rugs and the colour and style of weaving.  For information about samples, please go to the table on the hand knotted rugs page and click on the picture of the rug of your choice.

Payment

Payment can be made by credit or debit card using the PayPal button OR by cheque in British pounds sterling payable on a UK bank ONLY.  Please make cheques payable to C S Burke.  Please email me to inform me that you have sent an order.  I shall confirm when your order and cheque have been received and notify you when the goods have been sent. 

Your protection

You are protected by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.  These regulations give you the right to cancel your order and receive a refund if the goods are not satisfactory.  You have seven working days (from the day after you receive the goods) to view the goods and decide whether to keep them or return them. During this time the goods must be protected so that they can be returned in the same condition as when they were received.  If you cancel the order and return the goods you must receive a refund.  See also the returns policy below.

Returns policy
If there is a problem with your goods simply inform me within 8 working days from receipt of your order by sending an email to info@thehandweaver.co.uk and I will try to solve the problem immediately.  I will refund your money if you are not satisfied with the goods.  Items must be returned to me in their original packaging and must be in the same condition as when they were received.  All returned items should be securely packaged and a certificate of posting must be obtained from the Post Office in case the parcel goes astray.  In addition I ask you to please always complete the returns note indicating the reason for returning your purchase.  The postage will be refunded if the return has been caused by a fault or an error on the part of the Handweaver.
